The Tornado provides a nice bright light similar to lighting you would have if you have your blinds or curtains opened and let in the daylight.
Not overly bright, and perfect for kitchen areas, bathroom, laundry, toilet, hallways etc. .
The Ambience is a lovely light globe, provides a subtle lighting effect, without being too dull. Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms & anywhere you wish to create a relaxed atmosphere. The design of this light globe is great if you do not have a lamp shade, as it is appealing to look at.
I give both the Tornado & Ambience a 5 star rating.
